IT’S TAX PREPARATION SCAM TIME AGAIN!
Hi Folks,
Well, its tax filing time again and time for all the tax scam scum to come out of the woodwork. And, as seniors are probably the largest targeted group, we must be particularly vigilant.
It seems that every city and state has their own little group of scammers targeting their area as well as the national crooks.
Best advice – use prudence and common sense:
If you get a phone call offering to help you with your taxes, try to get a name and phone number, then give this information to the police . . . or just hang up. By all means do not get involved in a conversation with these people. Read more…
