Aging and Attitude
Hi Folks,
The subheading of my blog is “Making the Most of Our Senior Years”. And that is what this blog is all about, getting involved in a wonderful and exciting new life style; doing things we didn’t have time for when we were working and raising a family, learning new things, taking on new hobbies, sleeping late (or not) – the list could go on and on.
Unfortunately many seniors, retired and not yet retired, have a terrible attitude about getting older. Stinkin’ Thinkin’! What a terrible way to spend the rest of their lives.

Retirement – How to Change Your Life For the Better
Hi Folks,
Some of the most unhappy people I know are retirees that can’t get their retirement life put together! I have known most of these folks for years and they generally fall into one of two catagories: (1) “Boy I can hardly wait to retire! I am going to (fill in the blank here) every day and (also fill in this blank).” or (2) “Man, I don’t want to retire. I will be bored stiff. I don’t have any hobbies or anything special that I like to do.” Both of these types retired without giving any real thought and planning for their future. Sad, isn’t it?
