Welcome to “Woody’s Retirement Blog”. Thanks for stopping by.

My name is Woody Woodring. I live with my wife, Janie in beautiful Greenville, South Carolina where we retired a few years ago after living all over the United States and Europe.

I have another blog, www.retirement-on-a-budget.com which I started primarily to share information about how to live on less. It wasn’t long though, until I discovered I was writing more about “other things” than frugal living  So I decided to start an “about everything” blog.   

One disappointing thing about www.retirement-on-a-budget.com was that retirees did not seem interested in sharing about how to live on less and stretching their dollars. Someone said that it was probably because retirees that were struggling to make ends meet didn’t own a computer. LOL. You know, they could be right. Also I got more hits on how to be healthy and how to live long lives  than I did on my frugal living posts. So we will see how this site goes. I am considering discontinuing posting to Retirement On A Budget and use that site to share long articles, reports, manuals, etc about money management.  Who knows?
