RETIRED? Now What?
Hi Folks,
As far as I’m concerned, the only bad thing about retirement is that there isn’t enough hours in the day. I’ll bet lots of you have that same problem.
However, some retirees find themselves at loose ends. There is something missing in their lives.
Susan Kersley, today’s author, has some good, sound advice for getting your life as a retiree organized and on target – but it will take some work on your part.

Blueberries – The New Brain Food for Seniors
Hi folks,
I’ve been reading a lot lately about the effects of blueberries on reversing memory loss in seniors. It all sounds very promising so I’m sure there will be a lot more research done on blueberries as well an abundance of naysayers coming out of the woodwork. In the meantime I’ve asked Janie to put more blueberries in our strawberry/blueberry smoothies.
(She’s fixing one for us right now as I write this post.)

Happy Retirement
Hi Folks,
It’s been awhile since I’ve published an article by one of my favorite British authors, Susan Kersley. She always offers good, solid, common sense advice and her articles directed specifically to retirees are “spot on”.
I hope you enjoy Susan’s article. I look forward to bringing you more are her articles soon.

How to be a Happy Senior
Hi Folks,
I published the following article on my other blog, www.retirement-on-a-budget.com, on May 6, but as it is such a wonderful article I want to be sure that as many seniors as possible read it so I am re-publishing it here on Woody’s Retirement Blog.
This article by Shelley Riutta is not directed specifically at retirees but it should be!

Want to Retire? How much money will you need?
Hi Folks,
I am retired. I have been retired for six years (Gosh! It doesn’t seem that long!), and I am here to tell you - from experience – that if you don’t have one million dollars, a part time job, or a side-line business, don’t retire!
I have another blog – www.retirementonabudget.com- and each day the most visitors I get to that blog arrive there from a Google search “living only on social security” or similar search term.
