COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS
~~REQUIRED READING~~
Hi Folks,
Are you tired of all the doom-and-gloom headlines? Do you want to see things in a more realistic, positive light? Then run out to the nearest super market, book store or where ever magazines are sold and buy the February 2009 issue of Reader’s Digest, turn to page 122 and read “It’s a Wonderful Life”. After reading the 10 things to be thankful for today, I think you will agree with me that this article should be required reading for everyone in the United States of America.

WALK 50 MILES A MONTH
Hi Folks,
The January/February AARP Bulletin had the following health tip. (If you are not a member of AARP, you should be).
Walking 50 miles a month (By Betsy Towner, AARP Bulletin, January/February, 2009). That’s a brisk walk for half an hour at 3.5 miles per hour. (That’s a little too fast for me but with a treadmill I can work up to it. . . I think.)
